“We want to showcase the versatility of tea” says Miss Susanne Arfelt Rajamand and indeed they did.

The Cufflink Club is renowned for its experimentation with unique ingredients and flavours to create distinctive and great-tasting drinks. The presentation is of 16 recipes that include George Young’s signature creations Maple Twist, Mo-Tea-To and Fruitea Red Crush.

I got to try my hand at creating these exciting new possibili-teas at Lipton’s recent Cocktail Masterclass held at a beautiful grand colonial bungalow at Mount Pleasant and here are the snaps.

Fruitea Red Crush. Use : Fresh raspberries, strawberries, honey syrup, freshly squezed lemon juice with Lipton Forest Fruits Tea as the base; garnished with Thai basil leaves and strawberry. So pleasing to the eye and great to serve up before a dinner to whet the appetite!

The Lipton Yellow Label and Pyramid Tea range are available at all major supermarkets and are priced from $5.85 (per box of 100 tea bags) and $4.95 (per box of 20 tea bags).
