The pages in our calendar and planners are thinning, not many days now till we bid farewell to 2015 and welcome the new year. How time flies by.
Our life unfolds as we fill up our schedules and make plans – each day bring new experiences and memories for us to keep and hold.
This is my favourite time of the year. With the school holidays finally here, establishments busy dishing out festive goodies, music and aroma and the north-east monsoon bringing rain and cool weather, the atmosphere is just lovely.
For many, the year-end period is where getting together with family and friends and spending quality time is at its best. It is time to be treasured.
One of my favourite photos of the kids taken along the Rob Roy Track located in the Matukituki Valley and Mount Aspiring National Park, New Zealand.
So if you are reading this, thank you for stopping by. Make this last few weeks of 2015 count. Make lasting beautiful memories with your loved ones.
‘Time and tide waits for no man’ – this quote was often reiterated by my father-in-law. He was a fearless man and lived his life with fervour and discipline. He was encouraging, full of confidence, strength and resolve. He was, in many ways, our guiding force. We miss you. May you rest in peace.
