Chicken Stew (with Huiji Waist Tonic) – Easy No Fuss



½ Chicken cut into pcs
2 potatoes (halved)
1 large carrot (cut into pcs)
2 large tomatoes (quartered)
1 big red onion (peeled and quartered)
3 cloves garlic (roughly smashed with skin on)
½ teaspoon mixed spice powder
½ teaspoon white pepper
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
½ tablespoon Dark Soy Sauce
2 tablespoon Light Soy Sauce
20ml Huiji Waist Tonic

Add Huiji Waist Tonic
Add Huiji Waist Tonic

Method :
Fry onions and garlic in a little oil in a claypot / pot.
Add potatoes, carrot, chicken, tomatoes.
Add all seasoning and spices.
Lastly add ½ cup water. Cover and braise for 20 mins, stir in between (add more water if you like more gravy).
Before serving up, add Huiji Waist Tonic, mix in well. Turn off heat.
Garnish with chinese celery.
