Chocolate Fondant

Ingredients:

  • 100 gm chocolate
  • 100 gm unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 60 gm caster sugar
  • 20 gm all-purpose flour
  • icing sugar to sprinkle on

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180℃
  2. Brush the ramekins with butter.
  3. Melt the chocolate and butter using the double boiled method.
  4. Beat the eggs and sugar in a large bowl until the mixture turns pale, thick and fluffy.
  5. Fold in the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and combine well.
  6. Sift in the flour and lightly combine well. Divide the batter into ramekins.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes (oven temperature varies).
