Cold Noodles in Sesame Sauce

Cold Noodles
For hot days this makes a perfect meal. So easy to put together with such simple ingredients, best of all, the only cooking needed is for boiling the noodles, the chicken and frying the egg. It can be easily whipped up in less than 30mins.

(Serves 4 people)

Cold noodles 2

Noodles (I used whole meal spaghetti)
1 medium size cucumber (julienned)
1 medium size carrot (julienned)
2 small chicken thighs (or you may get chicken breast; boiled and shredded)

3 medium size eggs (fried into omelette and julienned)


Sesame Sauce
6tbsp Sesame Sauce
1 tsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp soya sauce
A dash of white pepper
1/2 tsp White Sesame Seeds (optional)
4tbsp drinking water

1) Boil pasta (or noodles) according to the package’s instructions and rinse with cold water then set it aside
2) Assemble all the ingredients on a plate
3) Drizzle the sauce, mix them all up and voila all ready to eat!
