Crispy Chicken Wings in Thai Chilli Sauce

Ingredients
800gms pack of frozen mid wings
1/2 cup rice flour
1/2 cup kentucky seasoned flour
2 eggs (whisked)
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp sweet paprika powder (optional)
a dash of pepper
oil for frying
2 tbsp of Sweet Thai Chilli Sauce

Method

  1. Wash the chicken wings and pat them dry completely
  2. Marinate chicken wings with garlic salt and pepper for 30mins
  3. Prepare the flour mixture by combining the rice flour and kentucky seasoned flour and sweet paprika together
  4. Dredge the chicken wings into the flour mixture
  5. Dip the chicken wings into the whisked eggs
  6. Coat the chicken wings with the flour mixture again
  7. In a pan of heated oil, shallow fry the chicken wings till golden brown
  8. Once cooked, remove the wings from the pan and drain them on kitchen paper towels
  9. Place the chicken wings into a zip plastic bag and add 2tbsp of Sweet Thai Chilli sauce into the bag of chicken wings. Zip up the plastic bag and give the wings a good shake till the sauce is well combined.
  10. Serve as is or serve it with white steamed rice.
