Crispy Chicken Wings in Thai Chilli Sauce

Ingredients
800gms pack of frozen mid wings
1/2 cup rice flour
1/2 cup kentucky seasoned flour
2 eggs (whisked)
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp sweet paprika powder (optional)
a dash of pepper
oil for frying
2 tbsp of Sweet Thai Chilli Sauce
Method
- Wash the chicken wings and pat them dry completely
- Marinate chicken wings with garlic salt and pepper for 30mins
- Prepare the flour mixture by combining the rice flour and kentucky seasoned flour and sweet paprika together
- Dredge the chicken wings into the flour mixture
- Dip the chicken wings into the whisked eggs
- Coat the chicken wings with the flour mixture again
- In a pan of heated oil, shallow fry the chicken wings till golden brown
- Once cooked, remove the wings from the pan and drain them on kitchen paper towels
- Place the chicken wings into a zip plastic bag and add 2tbsp of Sweet Thai Chilli sauce into the bag of chicken wings. Zip up the plastic bag and give the wings a good shake till the sauce is well combined.
- Serve as is or serve it with white steamed rice.
