Handmade Mee Hoon Kueh

Ingredients
Soup Base:
2 chicken bones
a handful of ikan bilis
salt to taste
Mee hoon kueh dough:
250grm plain flour
100ml water
1 egg
1 tablespn cooking oil
pinch of salt
additional flour to knead
other ingredients are subject to ur own preference,i added mushroom, crab balls, fish tofu minced chicken,caixin
U may fried ur own shallot oil and e tasty ikan bilis
Prep and Cooking Instructions
Boil water in ocher pan or pot,add in parboiled/clean chicken bones and ikan bilis in a stock bag(about 30min)
Prepare dough 30 min before usage,add all ingredients and knead bout 20 min/dough bounce back when press with finger.When kneading you may sprinkle more flour if u find dough too sticky.(pat flour on ready dough and clingwrap container).Add all ingredients u having into soup base and pinch /tear dough in
This gives a thicker n QQ texture,if u prefer thinner,roll it before using
When dough turn paler and bit translucent on surface its ready to be serve
