Yee Fu Noodles

Ingredients
1 pack of dried Hong Kong Yee Fu Noodles (can be bought from FairPrice)
1 can of baby corn (sliced into half)
1 can of straw mushrooms (sliced into half)
100gms of bean sprouts (or other vegetables of your choice such as bok choy)
Seafood (according to your preference, such as squid and prawns)
Chicken breast meat or boneless chicken thigh meat cut into small chunks (optional)
300ml-500ml water
minced 2 cloves garlic, 3 small onions
1 tsp of hua tiao wine (chinese cooking wine)
1-2 tsp of sugar

Seasoning
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tsp dark soya sauce
a dash of pepper

Method
1) Saute minced garlic and onions till fragrant
2) Fry meat, mushrooms, baby corn for a min or so
3) Add oyster sauce and dark soya sauce followed by the water. Simmer for 2-3mins
4) Add bean sprouts and seafood.
5) Once bean sprouts and seafood is about 50% cooked add in the dried noodles into the mixture.
6) At this point, add in the hua tiao wine and sugar
7) Cook till noodles has turned tender
8) You may serve with pickled green chilli or red cut chilli! :)

    this is a super yummy and easy recipe! kids loved it! i used chicken stock instead of water and it tasted really really good…thanks for sharing!
