A new weekend brunch menu is available for adults and kids at District 10, UE Square. Families can now enjoy a relaxing morning filled with good food and fun for everyone.
Located in the River Valley and Mohamed Sultan enclave, enjoy the weekend as you slow down to relaxing lounge beats amidst contemporary European design interiors featuring beautiful wood finishes.
While adults settle comfortably in, kids can unleash their morning stamina on the bouncy castle at the outdoor patio (see end of article for Fun For Kids!).
Created by Chef Luca Pezzera (previously from the award-winning Bonta restaurant), District 10’s brunch menu offers substantial, value-for-money dishes with a European influence.
We had a great start to our brunch with the delicious Croissant With Crab Salad, Celery, Red Onion and Green Apple. Often weighed down with too much mayonnaise elsewhere, District 10’s has the right amount of zing and crunch from the clever selection of ingredients. Refreshing and enjoyable with every bite!
Croissant With Crab Salad ($12) featuring Celery, Red Onion and Green Apple.
Their signature Florentine Style Eggs Benedict, where Chef Luca’s pay homage to his Italian roots, was the popular choice in our group of four and was mopped up with much enthusiasm.
Florentine Style Eggs Benedict ($16) featuring poached eggs on brioche, sautéed spinach with pesto hollandaise and pine nuts.
To-ing and fro-ing, I could not decide between the Philly Cheese Steak and the Kronenbourg Blanc Battered Fish and Chips. The carnivore in me won. (I only later came to read on Daniel Food Diary that their Fish and Chips was named Epicure’s Top 10 in Singapore. Must come back to try this!).
My satisfying Philly Cheese Steak ($18) featuring sliced grilled sirloin with melted provolone cheese, sauteed mushrooms and caramelized onions.
Our beverage of choice was the new Antioxidant Health Booster, District 10’s special blend of juices of peach, green apple, mango & strawberry. Yum!
For desert, we selected the crowd favourite Belgian Waffle. Girlie high-pitched squeals were let out upon seeing the pretty colours upon this being served. It was a lovely finish to our enjoyable meal.
Belgian Waffle ($14), strawberries, blackberries, ricotta cheese, wild honey and roasted walnuts.
Fun For The Kids!
Besides the bouncy castle *available, younger tots also have for themselves a special playpen vibrantly outfitted with ride- on cars, colouring books and pencils to keep them occupied.
