Lala Hokkien Mee at Penang Seafood Restaurant

Photos from our meal at Penang Seafood Restaurant on 28 October 2016. Known for its Penang delicacies, we found a variety of delicious zi char dishes that rewarded us for getting through a fruitful work week and to celebrate the last day of school. A good close to a wet Friday evening and excellent prelude to our movie date with Doctor Strange!

Fermented Pork Belly $12. A sinful crisp fatty delight!
Fried Sotong With Salted Egg, $13. Rich, savoury .. delicious!
Lala Hokkien Noodles with a generous serving of seafood. Medium $12
Assam Groupa Claypot $48. Pricey!
With the dishes we ordered, it was good to feed at least 6 people .. we were just 5 ;p
Giant Chives With Silver Sprout $12. A ‘new’ item on the menu. First time trying this and like the other dishes it was good! Very light on the palate, with wonderful wok hei and crunch! Perfect balance to the other rich tasting dishes.
As with all eateries serving up delicious food, expect to queue.
